Addison County PreK
School PreK Programs
Many communities in Addison County have their own school-based PreK programs run by the elementary school or the school district. Schedules and eligibility vary by program, but parents are encouraged to contact the program(s) in their district to discuss options for enrollment. Information about each of these programs is below.
Our communities are:
Addison Central SD: Bridport, Cornwall, Middlebury, Ripton, Salisbury, Shoreham, Weybridge
Mount Abraham USD: Bristol, Monkton, New Haven, Starksboro
Addison Northwest SD: Addison, Ferrisburgh, Panton, Waltham, Vergennes

School day, 4 days/week, school year program using the International Baccalaureate framework. Enrollment for ACSD residents usually begins with an interest survey about March 1st. Priority given to children from vulnerable populations including children with disabilities, dual language learners, children in foster/kin care, children who are homeless, and children of migrant agricultural workers.
